Yes and no. I absolutely loved our bonding time together and our little routine. I hated the family drama around the inlaw visits and how my hard earned PTO time was disrespected by them. The worst of it took place near the end of it, so I was ready to get back to work and hate being in my home.

I loved it too. The first month was such a blur to me, i am glad I had the additional 2 months to take her in.

YES!!! The first 6 weeks were rough for me - looking back I think I had a mild PPD relating to breastfeeding struggles. I took 5.5 months off and it was overall one of the happiest times in my life. I will always have very fond memories of my leave.

@MsLipGloss: EXACTLY what you said.

YES! I don't remember another time in which I have been so present in my own life - I didn't want to miss a second with my baby girl!

I did. I LOVED my maternity leave. It was like the ultimate bonding experience not having to worry about much besides getting to know her, feeding her, and learning about her. I Loved it

I did. I loved being at home with my daughter. I loved laying on the couch and staring at her after she ate. I loved holding her, smelling her, singing to her and watching her grow. I think I just tried to maximize the time we spent together those 3 months.

Did you enjoy your maternity leave? Why/why not?
