It's just that my outlet is a little different. Now I host play dates and art days. I still make way to much food and spoil all my mommy and daddy guests. I love hosting. It's just a slightly different venue. I have to admit I through a pretty good party. It hasn't been a huge transition. Most of my friends are moms now too so we are all looking for family activities. We still do. We just put LO in our room because its much further away and we make her nose machine extra loud. Plus our video monitor has a battery attachment so we put that in there with her and go on our merry way. Mostly it's just a bunch of BBQ;s, football gatherings and the like. Nothing fancy; just everyone getting together, hanging out and eating lots. Since we only host one party a year (annual Christmas party) that we handle the food entirely, I doubt we'll stop having as many people over as we currently do. We have a great house for entertaining, so people just tend to gather there anyways.<br /> It would be much harder if the majority of what we hosted relied on us solely, though. Also, a lot more of our friends started buying houses around that same time so we had more options of places to go. We would host football parties. When I was in college I'd have everyone over for the Jewish holidays because I couldn't go home for them.
