His mattress is at the lowest level and I'm not very tall. I sometimes lean over and kiss him goodnight before I leave the room and I have to brace my foot on the futon next to the crib and then sort of balance on my stomach on the railing while I lean over as far as possible without tumbling head-first. I look terribly ungraceful, I'm sure. Yes! When we attempted to finally get DS to sleep in his own room at 14 mo. We already converted it to the toddler bed though.
