We were long distance and during finals he would call to complain about how is prof wouldn't let him take the final exam....because he hasn't been to class in two weeks. Or mathematically couldn't pass. After taking a semester off for academic probation. I have no idea why. He lied about teeny tiny stupid things, not just the big things too.</p> <p>We were long distance so it was easy for him to lie, but id still catch him. especially about smoking when he'd come to visit. But the one that finally ended our relationship was that he said he was going to school, and he would tell me details about his teachers and classes and grades on tests. Then he said his finals were coming up but I realized all my friends in school had been finished for over a month. So I looked on his school website and his was done too. He told a lot of random lies during our relationship (example: he met the band System of a Down on an international flight and helped them write a bunch of songs--yeah right).</p> <p>I Googled him a few months ago and found a YouTube video in which he claims that he got married to a woman from Saudi Arabia whose father came to the US and kidnapped her and now they're separated forever. There are many more details that would show how truly crazy he is, but...yeah. We were still friendly and talked every once in a blue moon. He told me this elaborate story about how he moved to FL, was engaged to this very rich girl with a rich family. He said he would invite me to the wedding.</p> <p>A few months later, I ran into his cousin so I asked, " oh, how's Joey? I heard he was getting married." The cousin looked confused and said that Joey was never engaged...
