Sometimes it was with his permission and other times without. I wasn't a troublemaker by any means. I think it was mainly for field trips and such. I forged my mom's signature pretty often in high school. Our handwritings are similar so it was very easy. I usually only did it on permission slips, but definitely did a few times to get out of gym class. She'd sent me in with a legit signed note giving permission for me to ride the bus home with a friend, and I lost it by lunchtime, so I forged one.
