We always trick-or-treated with a parent, though, never just us girls.</p> <p>Nowadays, I think you'd be lucky not to have parents just drive their kids house to house. Around the time that it started or heard about it, I was a bit older and it was my last year of going out. I wonder if it got really bad after my 'active' years. I wasn't in a bad neighborhood (at the time), but currently things are not as good. Not horrible but a little worse than when I was a kid. </p> <p>Ugh! Sad that there is an online guide. It happened to me once though, and to Bee twice! We were both trick-or-treating with a group of friends, and there were no adults around. You usually know who the bag snatchers are, but there isn't much you can do about it. That was definitely the case for both of us. Haha, I can remember the feeling of injustice over losing all that hard-"earned" candy!</p> <p>Did you ever get bag snatched as a kid? </p>
