I'm glad to see this post and the outpouring of support from HB!

I'm 32 weeks and get this feeling occasionally. Especially when I don't get much sleep for whatever reason.

I never did. But I think it's pretty typical to do so.

In addition to the weeks before, I had it about 2 minutes after my water broke. And on the way to the hospital. Totally normal!!!
I still have no idea what the heck i'm doing...but your mommy instinct will kick in.

Absolutely. So far, it's mostly been about money stuff-- we purposely waited until we were in a very good financial position for this baby, and still, when we sat down and looked things like a new apt or buying a place, I was like-- oh god how are we going to do this? We just kept telling ourselves that everyone must go through this and everyone makes it work... right?
I've barely even gotten to the 'how will I take care of this innocent little life??' freak out!

*raises hand* I'm 23 weeks and basically the whole first trimester I was freaking out. And she was planned! Now at 23 weeks reality is setting in and I'm starting to worry about things like sleep schedules, when and how to feed her, etc. I have basically no experience with babies, so I'm definitely worried I'm gonna be a completely lost :/

Normal! I had many freak outs while pregnant. And I'm not gonna lie, I had some "what have we done moments" after the baby was born. The first couple weeks are rough. You will learn quick! DH and I didn't have a lot of experience with babies and we figured it out. :) And there is always HB for all your questions.

Normal! I had many of these. The answer is, you may not know how to do any of those things but instinct is stronger than you think. And when in doubt there's alway Hellobee ;) nobody knows how to do this! It's a learning process but you will not be a bad mom and you will have fun learning how to care for your LO. Just remember to keep your sense of humor, it's been essential during many a sleepless night!

Definitely normal, I was so nervous about it, but realized that there wasn't anything I could do about it, so I went with the flow.

I guarantee I'll feel that way again when we get to #2- maybe even worse than the first time!

Oh yes. I have had a few. I already have 2 step sons and am now waiting to add a 3rd boy to the mix. I have had a few "omg omg omg what did we doooooo, another boy? can I handle it? Will I ever have a life again? What if he hates me? What if I'm a bad mom? What if we somehow end up not being able to afford everything?" moments.

I think it's totally normal. It's a HUGE life change. One that not only affects the present but also the rest of your future. I think it's normal and healthy to question yourself.

I'm only 25 weeks pregnant so I still have a few months before baby Brady makes his grand entrance. As much as I want to meet him, I am starting to freak out about it. I just worry that I am not ready. I feel like there is so much I still don't know. What if he gets here and I am completely clueless? What if I can't figure out a bedtime routine? What if I don't know how to soothe him? What if...what if...what if?

What if I am a bad mom?!?!

Is this type of freak out normal? Did anyone feel this way? I never knew I could love someone who I've never met. It is terrifying to think that I might not know everything I need to know to keep him healthy, safe, and happy.
