It wasn't appendicitis so they were looking for other sources of the pain - turned out to be a big ovarian cyst. My mom had breast cancer young and my paternal grandmother also did, so because of the family risk my dr also had me get a baseline mammogram and MRI too before I got pregnant. I actually had a "dildo cam" appointment scheduled to check on a cyst and I ended up getting pregnant and the tech scared the crap out of me because she asked "who told you you were pregnant?" </p>
