I had a hematoma that ruptured while I was pushing. All of my doctors told me that it couldn't re-fill and re-rupture, but it did, four days post-partum and at home. It was the scariest thing I've ever experienced.

9 hours into labor I got an epidural and got to take a nap. I woke up about an hour later to a handful of medical staff in my room and beeping machines.
Apparently my baby and my heart rate dropped for a few mins.
We were stabilized quickly though.
I had to push for 2 hours before my baby was turned sideways. I pushed so hard I ended up with 3rd degree tears and the pressure/positioning caused a fracture in my LO's clavicle. It was a clean break and didn't bother her though.
I'm just thankful I had a relatively uncomplicated labor experience.

So awesome to hear that despite your early delivery and the placenta complications that Olive is aok!!! So happy for you guys.

With RJ I was stuck at 9.5 cm dilated for a long time. RJ's head was also tilted and I spiked a fever. Luckily all three of those things resolved and I was able to start pushing. I pushed for 3 hours and he never even crowned... the doctor was at the end of her shift and had just done 3 C-sections in a row, so she decided to go in and put the vacuum on RJ's head to help him out, and that was fine with me. 4.5 pushes later he slipped right out!

The cord broke and the placenta broke up inside me so the doc had to manually deliver most of it, which SUCKED. But the pain of the stitches after that was so horrible that I don't even remember the whole placenta thing.

With Charlie I pushed for three hours and because I wasn't making enough progress, I ended up with a c-section. He was facing up (facing my belly button instead of my spine) and at an angle, which made pushing him out way harder (most babies are facing down). The doctor also told me I have a very narrow cervix, which didn't help, especially since he was a big baby..

With Olive, my placenta separated (placental abruption) during labor and I started bleeding. Had I been at home and not delivered fast enough, she could have died since the placenta delivers oxygen and nutrients. I delivered the placenta at the same time Olive came out (most women deliver it separately), but luckily she was ok.

As far as labor complications go, I didn't have anything serious, but it's just a reminder that you never know what will happen.
