@T.H.O.U.: You changed your name, I got really confused! It's going alot better, sadly the thing that makes me feel better is that the morning (and afternoon and evening and night) sickness is hitting me hard so I feel like the pregnancy is really taking hold!

@NaturallyCathy: It's funny, I've been in Mexico for work this week and have had alot more time to myself than usual, and I definitely feel more pregnant now. More time to think about it? Part of it is that I'm a little further along (7 weeks) than before, and part of it the sickness I mentioned too - being sick in another country sucks!

I knew I was pregnant sooner the second time around but yes, I still felt 'less pregnant'. I know exactly what you mean and how it just doesn't feel the same even though you know sooner - either by TTC or just a feeling then confirmed with a home test.

Even having gotten to a little past week 38, I still don't feel as pregnant as I did the first time around. Perhaps it's just the fact that our body is used to it? I hope your feeling of doom and gloom abate dear. I hope things turn out just fine and you have a very healthy baby here in the next nine months or so.

@Thehistoryofus: I'm hoping that is what is going on. A girl would be so great. :) I need to be positive and stop thinking that everything is a bad sign..... I hate this early part and the waiting/stress involved!

Nope...I'm almost to 35 weeks, and ds was born at 32 weeks, so I'm experiencing a size I've never seen on myself before, and I'm definitely MORE pregnant, lol.

Besides that, my pregnancy with ds was a breeze, while this one has made me nauseated and tired the entire pregnancy. This one definitely is kicking my butt more!

I definitely feel less pregnant this time...chasing my LO keeps my mind occupied. I have also gained less weight so at 28 weeks...my body doesn't feel as weighed down as last time!

I just have #1, but I know my first tri seemed to drag on because I was so worried and doing all kinds of research jumping into the "baby" world. You are already in mom mode, so I think its probably less of an adjustment.

My friend had a little girl and she said her pregnancy with #2 was totally different and it was the opposite gender. Maybe you have a girl on the way?

I'm only about 5 weeks along... but "feel less pregnant" than I did with my son - whatever that means, really. I feel like that sounds dumb but it's the best way I can describe it.

Part of it, I'm sure is that I probably don't remember that well what the very early stages of pregnancy were like b.c my mind is overloaded with the later stages. The second part of it it could be that I'm alot busier now having a toddler and just don't have time to sit and think about it. The third thing could be that every pregnancy is different.

I've got myself convinced that I'm going to lose this pregnancy though, with this feeling being a large part of it. So I wanted to see what Moms with 2 or more thought!
