I guess I'm still really early to be feeling much.
Baby was transverse at last appointment. Now he's head down at 21 weeks. Didn't feel him flip.

I swear I did. I knew he was transverse, and felt exactly like you felt-no movement above belly button, etc. I was getting desperate and did some spinning babies moves. I laid down on the couch a little later and felt movement on my left side, which I NEVER felt the entire pregnancy. It was the craziest feeling. At my sono the next day, he was head down! I am just convinced that was him flipping.

Honestly I feel like lo has flipped a bunch of times! He makes these crazy rolls that cause my whole stomach to shift. I have no idea if he's head down/breech or just curled up though.

With DD #2 I was breech until 32 or 34 weeks, and then I went to the dentist. I felt her flip while I was reclined back in the chair. And she stayed that way. Can't wait to hear if your LO has really flipped!

I didn't know she was flipping, I thought she was just partying. Lol. But now I can feel her head, back and feet, and she's head down! She was very stubbornly transverse until maybe 29 weeks?

I did. I didn't know it at the time, I thought it was my LO pressing on my ribs. I remember sitting up in bed in tears, I thought it was going to feel like that the rest of my pregnancy and I didn't know how I was going to deal with the pain. So I brought it up at my next OB apt and she said it was probably my LO turning, and then she felt around and confirmed. Which of course made the pain worth it :)

@Running Elley:
1. to answer your question: yes. My baby was transverse too...with his head to the right and his feet to my left side. He recently flipped completely and is now head to left and feet to bladder! So very breech.
It felt like an alien trying to come through my stomach. I yelled and had DH try to film it but it wasn't that obvious from the outside.

2. I had an u/s the next day by coincidence and she said 30w is about the time were I should start to expect him to start turning his way down. So, she said if he doesn't flip to start flipping techniques by the 32nd week:(
He'd better flip. I am 29+6.

ETA: spinningbabies.com has MANY ways to flip babies of all positions and techniques to get baby to come down lower. I don't know if they work but thought i'd throw that out there.

It's crazy you mentioned this, I didn't feel her flip per say, but I think she dropped lower TODAY! I feel a lot more pressure below than I ever did before, she was settled under my ribs for awhile (I feel your pain) but I haven't had those kicks/punches up there all day. I'm interested to see what the doc says tomorrow!

My baby never flipped so I didn't feel anything. I did have a co-worker though who told me they knew exactly when their baby moved into position so I do think it's possible.

I kind of think LO might have flipped. At my last OB appointment (26 weeks) he was transverse and all the movements that I felt up to and after that appointment were pretty low. The highest were belly button level and they were almost always movements at my sides. Well, on Tuesday night I felt a bunch of rolls, it just felt like he was doing somersaults in there! Yesterday and today I’ve been feeling a TON of movement but it’s either really low in the middle of up high in my ribs (ow!!!!)…it feels like he’s just under my boob.

Could you tell when your baby flipped? Did it feel like this? Also, I’m almost 30 weeks. If he’s flipped now will he most likely stay head down?
