@sslm: I hope so too! The problem is she is positioned incredibly funky (especially compared to my 1st baby) and I'm beginning to wonder if that's the issue and we may be looking at needing a c-section. :( gah! Testing this week should let us know.

I think I'll end up gaining a bit more this time. I didn't gain anything until almost the end of my second tri with LO because I was sick a lot. I ended up gaining 18 lbs. This time I haven't been as sick, and if I stay on track will gain somewhere in the "normal" range.

I gained 29lbs with my first, and probably closer to 40lbs with my second. But I started out about 10lbs lighter with my 2nd, so it probably just all evened out. And FWIW, 1 was a boy, 2 was a girl.

So far I've gained 5 or 6 less pounds than I did at this point in my last pregnancy. But, my starting weight this pregnancy was about that much more than it was last time. Either way, I'm still hoping to overall gain less this time around.

I gained 40 with my first and 20 with my second. Would have been great if not for the fact that I still had 20lbs to lose of baby weight from the first, when I got pregnant with the second. The joys of getting pregnant at 6 months pp :silly:

It's working out to be about the same. I would have liked to stay below the 30 lbs this time but the pound a week at the end gets me (but I think most of that is water weight swelling toward the end).

I probably gained 25-30 with my first (the nightly craving for a Big Mac with my first probably didn't help matters. ) and right now am standing at 9lbs at 36w with my second.

I eat a lot less junk/chips & bread this time around.

The only thing that was the same between the two pregnancies weight wise is that I lost in the first trimester.

I gained 57 with my first, 27 with my second and 14 so far with my third (at 39 weeks).

With my first, I started out thin and although I lost all the pregnancy weight, it slowly crept back. I gained a good 10-15 lbs extra while TTC for #2. I ate whatever I felt like with my second pregnancy (mostly because I was sick all the time so I mostly threw up whatever I ate). This third pregnancy, I started out the same weight as I did with my second but I ate a lot healthier.

If you have 2+ kids did you gain the same weight with all of your pregnancies? More? Less? What do you attribute any difference to?

So far I'm about the same. With my first gained 5 lbs in the first tri. With this one, gained 5 lbs by 15 weeks. Guessing another 1-2 lbs at 17 weeks. I'm working out about the same, eating about the same, but this time am not working...instead am chasing around a 2 year old
