I have one Boob top I got on sale... And a few nursing pj's and gowns for nighttime feeds at Destination Maternity. The rest of the time I layer too like the previous posters... I wear nursing tanks (target or Glamourmom) and another regular shirt on top.

I didn't. Which was good because breastfeeding didn't end up working out for me.

I did. I have a bunch of tanks I lived in while on mat leave (threw a cardi over it when I went out) and I bought some MilkStars and Boob Design tops. To be honest-only the tanks were worth it IMO. I figured out what regulr clothes worked to nurse and wore regular clothes. My biggest tip is to layer. I have a bunch of the Be Maternity Seamless Cami from Target. I wear them as my base layer, then layer tops over it. When I nurse, I pull my top layers up, and this tank down. That way my whole belly isnt exposed.

No, I only breastfed in my car so I just pulled my shirt up and covered up with a blanket.

I purchased one nursing top from ON because it was on sale. Besides that I've been accumulating cross over tops and deep V jersey dresses as well.
As with maternity clothing I don't plan on purchasing much nursing outfits.

I've heard good things about Boob Design clothing. It's apparently super comfy and flattering, and it's made so it's easy to either pull it down, or it separates so you can pop out the boob during feeding time without twisting or stretching the shirt. I'll probably pick up a few of their tops as I get closer to thinking about that stuff!

Other than nursing tanks that clip down, I'm wondering if you purchased any nursing tops?

Most of my pre-preg clothes are form fitting so I'm trying to figure out what I will be able to wear the first few months post birth. I'll probably be in sweats at home, but if we go out? Due in May so thinking jersey dresses will be good for nursing, but what about actual tops?
