The girls I was randomly placed with Freshman year were horrible to me and bullied me so I switched rooms. Then the girls I roomed with sophomore-senior year were my friends while we were at school, but since I broke up with my BF right after graduation and they were his friends first we don't keep in touch. One of my roommates and I got along great, and we are still best friends to this day. The other one, not so much. We didn't even speak the last year that we lived together, and we shared a wall! It was so awkward. We got along, but it definitely strained our friendship because she got sick (anorexia) and I had to watch her slowly destroy herself and refuse help.</p> <p>My second roommate was a friend I made freshman year. Very deeply religious, and hung a cross on every wall in our tiny little dorm room. She never had to work a day in her life, and told me that my parents didn't love me because I had a part-time job. I had a boyfriend who hung out in my room, and she told me I was a slut. The girl was my age though so that helped (he was a bit older...) </p> <p>Then I moved in with dh (then he was bf) and 4 other guys... That was a fun 9 months. Lots of partying and staying up late. I had the same roommate for most of college and she was really sweet but she had A LOT of drama that she couldn’t help dragging other people into. It got exhausting! She was also very messy and the mess didn’t bother her at all (mess REALLY bothers me). There was definitely little pockets of drama living with another female. There was the freshman roommate who ended up being a total B and I haven't talk to her since we switched roommates. Good riddance! Everyone after her was great and I'm still friends with my roommates, except her. </p>
