Haha!</p> <p>With A, I let my doc check at 36 weeks (I had changed practices) because we were going out of town. I was 1.5cm dilated at that point. Got checked again at 39 weeks and was almost 4cm. Still went to 40+3! She was checked at 36 weeks and was 3cm. She got her hopes up that it would be soon, and went past her due date and was beyond done. I didn't have any until I was 39 weeks. I was completely closed and gave birth 2 days later. </p> <p>With LO2, I declined all checks because he was a scheduled C-section. However, I asked for one at 36 weeks with LO2 because I was already feeling prodromal labor contractions--I was 1 cm dilated. At 37 weeks, I was 3 cm dilated and went into labor 2 days later, almost 3 weeks early. I was checked pretty regularly after that.
