Definitely more. We sleep trained at the same time we moved DD to her own room (at 9 months), and we all finally slept through the night after only 2 nights of adjustment! Prior to that, she was waking 4-5 times a night still.

Even with my toddler I sleep worse when she's in the room. During the early morning LO is a light sleeper and I don't even want to roll over for fear of waking her! I am all for LOs moving to their own room earlier... :P (I know, bad mama. Whatever. Sleeeeeeep.)

Next kiddo will be room sharing, though, so that will be a little tougher. Plan is to use a screen from MIL's and put the white noise inside it. And to fix the creaky floors. And hope lo2 is a fabulous sleeper hahaha!

Eta this is also why I usually only use the video function on the monitor most nights...

More sleep and deeper sleep. Her noises didn't wake and I could move around and get comfortable without worrying about waking her.

Ok...I think I may move her this week then. She does a whole lot of grunting before she even really wakes up, I'm wondering if I were to tune some of that out she would actually fall back asleep (I usually just grab her and feed her right away), and maybe we would both get more sleep!

I did sleep better but I am a very light sleeper. Everytime DS made a noise I woke up and had to check on him/attempt to feed him. Having him in his room made it so I only really heard him when he was crying and we both ended up getting more sleep overall.

I should add, I was too nervous to move him out of our room until he was 5.5 months. I hope to move #2 to his/her room sooner than that!

More. Moved him at one month Bc he was so loud. He was 10 feet away and we used the monitor so I didn't worry too much.

We tried to keep LO in our room at first and immediately realized it was a bad idea. He grunts loudly and moves around a lot in his sleep and he's also a light sleeper so we would keep waking him up as well.

I know some people use the angel care monitor, that might help you feel more comfortable. We just had a video monitor and that was enough, I mean he woke up every two hours for the first 10 weeks so we were in there constantly anyway.

Both of my kids made a lot of noise so I slept way better once I moved them. I moved them both after a few weeks of sleeping in my room. The nursery is right next to our room so I could easily hear any "real" cries for feeding time.

Or less because you worried? Or had to do more back and forth? I'm debating moving E to her crib in the next week maybe (just ordered a second monitor camera), but she still wakes up a good handful of times a night and sometimes it takes a few pacifier offerings or a few more burps to get her back to sleep. On the flip side, she makes a lot of noise in her sleep and if I'm trying to fall back to sleep it makes it really difficult. I'm not sure if it will be just as annoying on the monitor but hoping if I turn it down enough so that I can ignore the grunts but here the fussing/crying that would be beneficial to my sleep.

Please share your experience so hopefully I can decide what I'm going to do! I'm so torn.
