Her youngest is three now and she's still taking Tri-Sprintec and hasnt gotten pregnant again... I'm not sure why she continues to take the same pill but she has. And she is borderline OCD so I definitely believe she was taking it properly. In between kids we are using condoms + avoiding fertile days. And it's a 1 day non-invasive procedure so neither partner is having to undergo surgery. Also: in the Lon run I am sure it's healthier than taking hormones until you hit menopause!<br /> But I never got pregnant on the 6 years I was on the depo shot:) hell, it took 6m after the shot to get pregnant as well because apparently it depletes your uterine lining so much that an egg can't even implant if it is accidentally get fertilized.
