I had mild cramps before my BFP which is why I tested in the first place ... I ended up m/c in the 6th week, and had mild cramps up until that point (they became more like bad af cramps after I started bto m/c). I was told by our midwife though that the cramps were not a sign of the m/c ... the two were not related (ie. next pregnancy, I shouldn't freak out if I start cramping). Wishing you the best of luck at your appt!!

Yes, I had dull cramps and also twinges (round ligament pains). I'd worry about them but the OB said to just lie down and relax if you can when they come.

I had them on and off for the first few weeks. There were a handful of times when they were so bad (like, around 5 weeks) that I woke up fully expecting my period and for it to be all over. Very scary, but I never had any spotting or anything and they eventually stopped completely.

@MamaMoose: My midwife said the same thing-- cramping was fine, spotting was fine, but really really bad cramps or heavy bleeding, or cramping and bleeding today, call or go in.

Yep. I had some that were so bad that I sent myself to the emergency room, fearing the worst.
I soon learned that cramps were a very regular part of pregnancy for me. I always had them.

I had dull period-like cramps early on. With my m/c I had sharp, excruciating cramps, but no bleeding.

@MamaMoose: Since I have an appointment on Thursday I'm going to bring it up, but there is no bleeding.

I've had a m/c and this cramping was similar to what I experienced in the beginning but nowhere near as bad as that.

My doctor's rule on cramping was to call if you had bleeding as well, or if the cramps were worse than what I fell when I have my period. So if they are more severe than your usual cramps I would call your doc to be safe.

Yep. I had all sorts of weird pulling and pressure in the third trimester. At one point I thought I had a bladder infection, but the doctor just said your uterus is growing and has to contract to grow, so that's likely what it was!

I had menstrual type cramps all through my first trimester, they really freaked me out!

If they are extreme though, I'd definitely talk to your doc.

I had some menstrual-like ones, doc said it was the uterus stretching most likely. If they're excruciating, I would definitely check with your doctor!

I have had them for 2 days on and off now. They're very very very low, imagine as low as possible. They haven't been too bad or constant until today. I went into the store and could hardly walk, last night and this morning that area where the cramps are was very hard. I'm so glad my appt is on Thursday.
