I feel like the worst hasn't come yet, so I've been drinking tons of water and trying to eat healthier. </p> <p>I still need to figure out where I stand on the flu shot though. I was miserable and the only thing I could take was cough drops.</p> <p>I'd stay away from antibiotics unless they're really needed. They're so overprescribed nowadays and leading to even worse bugs. My Dr says I have a upper respiratory tract infection that he will not prescribe meds for...just rest and drink water. Once in first trimester (ear infection) and once during second tri (sinus infection).<br /> I tried to go as long as possible without medication. Eventually I broke down and went to the minute clinic. The minute clinic sent me to the ER.</p> <p>Both times I was prescribed antibiotics. I filled the prescription but refused to take the antibiotics. Things cleared up on their own but seemed to take forever to get better.
