I bought everything on our "must have before baby arrives" list by 7 months. And around then I also had all of the newborn and 3 month clothes washed and folded and ready to go in the closet.</p> <p> I don't refer to this as nesting so much as "there's no way I'll ever have time to get our home this clean once the baby comes so I'm going to get things as clean as possible now". A baby's coming. It was Monday night, my mom was here, and I was cleaning the kitchen. Pretty normal, but then I decided then I decided I just HAD to clean out the Brita Water well-thing. I cleaned out the top part, but then decided that I was somehow going to poison my child if I only cleaned the top instead of the basin as well. Except the top part doesn't like slip out--in the end it took me well over an hour to get the two parts separated, and involved a knife, hot water, cold water, and our freezer. </p> <p>Meanwhile my mom is sitting at the table laughing at me watching me sit on the floor trying to pry this thing apart and telling me I should leave it and get some sleep. So I yelled at her, which I have never, ever done.
