Funny... I also feel like my booty is gone. I lost all of the pregnancy weight without having any time to actually work out, but my belly is still rather flabby, and my hips seem to be permanently wider. I doubt I'll ever fit into my pre-pregnancy pants again, so I've finally gone and bought new pants in the next size up.

@hellobeeboston: It has something to do with weakened glutes due to the belly getting bigger (you arch your back, and probably don't activate your glutes) and the way you lose weight/fat through breastfeeding. Bridges are the best way to activate your glutes!

7 months and i still have those last stubborn 5 lbs left. I haven't been consistent enough in my workouts, and i'm sure i would've lost them sooner if i were more diligent. However, i fit into my pre-preg jeans without too much muffin topping going on.

I'm 4 weeks post partum and I'm now 5 kg's lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight but I still don't fit most of my clothes. My legs and arms are skinnier but my hips and tummy are bigger.

I'm breastfeeding and walking every couple of days.

Kids are 3.5 months and I'm still hovering close to the same weight as about 1 week postpartum, ugh! I'm running a
10-15 miles per week and my tummy has definitely slimmed but it's looking like it is going to be a long road to get these 25-30 lbs off....the scale just won't move. I'm nursing as much as my body will make, and trying to eat as healthy as I can. I'm scared of too restrictive a diet as I can't afford to jeopardize my milk, but I think that is ultimately what will work..eventually.

Pre-pregnancy weight, yes, that went away on its own....pre-pregnancy body shape, nope! I've found pilates to be super helpful in toning up my abs/thighs/butt and redistributing the curves back to wear they used to be.

My big body complaint at the moment is new-found upper arm flab. Seriously, I don't know why or how it happened but I feel like I'm starting to get old-lady arms. Totally not fair; shouldn't carrying a baby around be toning them up, not making them sag?!? Time to start bench-pressing the baby, I think! :)

Even after working out after DD, I never got my flat abs back no matter what I did! I think the only way is a tummy tuck :-(

I didn't lose all the weight until DS started eating meals and cut back on BFing at 9 months pp. My upper body is wider but everything is smaller, and I've got a flat booty, too. Why does this happen?? :/

I think there's a difference between weight and shape. I am back to pre-pregnancy weight but my hips are a little wider and my boobs are smaller. I never worked out or watched what I ate. I breastfed on demand and lead a busy lifestyle and I lost the 65 lbs. of pregnancy weight.

For me, I didn't expect to look the same after I had a baby. I mean, I'm not the same person I was before, you know?

I have no idea when I hit my Pre pregnancy weight because I never weigh myself. But everything was pretty much fitting at 6 weeks pp. at about 4/5 months most of the flab is gone too but I can def use some toning of the abs. My chest have gotten wider and so have my hips!

@hellobeeboston: I was sad and shocked when I realized how flat my butt had gotten. I blame sitting on my @ss all day and not exercising? :(
I think it happens to a lot of women though. -.-

I am starting to lose hope that I'll be misshapen the rest of my life! I have a gym membership but still adjusting to life with baby and a fairly absentee husband and haven't had time to get back to it yet. Im wearing my pre-preg jeans but they fit crazy, saggy in back and tight in front. I don't even have the courage to try on any other pants!
