Xander was more than ready to potty train and initiated the training, so he didn't really need to be bribed/rewarded for it. Peeing is going super well, poop not so much. I told her when she starts going poop in the potty then I will buy her a big package of princess underwear and a movie. She seemed interested in the prize but still won't poop in the potty arghhhhh. After that, we would use mini m&amp;ms. I think it was like 1 for pee and 3 for poop, but we very quickly went to only giving those if she reminded us. Eventually we did re-institute them for overnight because she was clearly peeing in her diaper first thing in the morning when she could've just gotten up and gone! But again, would only give her them if she reminded us. At some point the novelty wore off.</p> <p>Then we switched to a "treasure box", that I filled with dollar store stuff and hot wheels.
