It's a requirement and he hated every second. I am not Jewish so I never did anything like that. Glad I learned basic Korean but it certainly wasn't rigorous. Half the day was spent on typical subjects and then after lunch was Hebrew, Torah, etc. It completely turned me off the the religion and culture. I went to greek school (church community run) from ages 4 - 8, and then I went to an independent primary/high school that was greek orthodox, so greek classes til final year of high school. I'm so glad I did because that's how I learned to read and write, a skill that I still use today (Korean is easy! Plus I could already speak it).</p> <p>Charlie and Olive started Korean school earlier this year.</p> <p>What about you? Would you send your kids? </p>
