My grandpa was on the fair board of both so we got free passes to everything growing up. The best part about carnivals though, for me, was the food! We eat lots of food and play some of the games, but the rides are too scary, haha. I was in college and wanted to see Aaron Carter. Yes, I just admitted that. So my sister and I decided to go up early to ride the rides... but once we saw them we were too scared to get on them! We'd ride rides, play games and best of all, eat carnival food! But when I went to a carnival as an adult, I was terrified! The rides seemed so old, and they felt like they could break at any moment.
