My mom used to take us at least weekly, and once I got into junior high and older, I started volunteering there. We also went to the used book store a lot and less often to new book stores. My mom is an avid reader and so am I. I am a children's librarian, so I'm always here, LOL. </p> <p>DD is only 12 weeks so we plan on bringing her in when she is older. She has been here twice already to meet my co-workers. We have tons of books at home that we read to her. </p> <p>We were always at the library when I was a kid and I loved my elementary school library too. I loved going and remembered getting excited when my mom offered to take us. Anyhow, I only say that because you know, I don't remember the public library! Only the school library, which I spent a TON of time in, and I have the feeling was (at that point) the only library there. Well, that and the bookstore... which I'm thinking probably won't even exist in another generation. I used to go to the library, and then to the used bookstore. I just love books.</p> <p>Did you go to the library a lot growing up? How often do you plan on visiting the library with your kids? </p>
