We are all super close and it actually makes me sad that my LOs will not have family that close. It was wonderful. We make a point to stay in touch via phone, email, and skype, but it would be wonderful to be closer.</p> <p>LO will have both sets of grandparents in the same city - all her aunts, as well. We're looking to move about 40 minutes away by the end of the year to be closer to DH's job. We're eventually planning to purchase a home out of state, but that might be a few years down the road. On my mom's side she was the only one to get married and have kids. So I had 2 uncles and an aunt, but no cousins on that side. We get together frequently still. My mom has 5 siblings and my dad has 3, and most of them live close. And actually on my mom's side we still do Christmas with my grandma and all her siblings and all their kids. You would never know that we are second/third cousins, we are close like first!
