I did wear hand me downs from my cousins though.. who were a good 15 years older than me so I was rocking styles that were exactly out of style then. They were like Kmart). </p> <p>@wahine08: My sister and I lived together for 5 years after I graduated college and still shared clothes and shoes! We definitely had things that were mine or hers, but had an open closet policy :) Luckily we are roughly the same size. Through high school, my sister and I shared our "back to school" new clothes. We weren't allowed to say "But this is MINE you can't use it!" by that point we were getting new clothes though, since kids stop "growing out" of stuff by then.</p> <p>We still share stuff well into our late 20's! Brilliant move by my mom... all of a sudden, Goodwill sounded like a great option!!</p> <p>I saved up though, so I could buy some clothes for myself once I hit junior high.
