My SIL's BF has a 7 year old daughter, and she was given the pink care bear when she was born. She has slept with it every.single.night since. When she stays over at my SIL's house and has forgotten it at her mom's house, she will completely melt down, Level 10 tantrum. The thing was totally ratty and worn down. She left it at my SIL's house one day, and while it was there her BF bought a new one and told her (his DD) that SIL was going to wash Care Bear, and then passed off the new bear as her old one.
