I liked having a doula, but DH LOVED it. I mainly remember DH being awesome and supportive- DH remembers feeling really helped and supported by our awesome doula. There were times (when I was laboring at home, or on the way to the hospital) that I wanted to yell at her to shut up and stop telling me to breathe, but once my epidural stopped working she was the one helping me breathe through them (DH was holding my hand and rubbing my back), and when I was pushing she was counting (and holding one of my legs, lol). </p>
