my girl was born large but her growth didn't take off until 3 months. Now she is almost a year and in 18m clothes. She barely wore 6m or 12m stuff!

DD was big at birth (10.9 oz and 23.5") and quickly outgrew NB stuff. I think we packed them away at 3 weeks and that was pushing it. Now at 9.5 weeks she is still in 3-6 month stuff. Some brands she can do 0-3 still but not all. Brands vary too much I think.

C was out of newborn by 2 weeks and out of 0-3m at 8 weeks. She ended up in 6-9 at 4 months and then has generally been 2-3 months ahead since. It's just now slowed down between 18-24 months. She went into 2T about a month before she turned 2.

DD outgrew 3-6 month clothes at 11 week.s Her entire summer wardrobe that I bought ahead of 6-9 month sizes was too small by mid May. Thankfully she's slowed down a bit and is comfortably in 18-24 and 2 year clothes at 16 months.

DS grew pretty fast as a newborn. He gained almost 4 lbs his first month and grew out of 0-3 month at around 2.5 months. His growth slowed a lot after he hit 6 months and really slowed down once he turned 1. He's now average/ a little below average size wise. He can still fit into his 12 month shorts from last summer and he's 19 months now!

It's like she grew super fast from 0-5 months, but has stalled a little bit. Some of her 6 month pants are getting too short, but the 9 month pants still look crazy long on her. However, all the 6-12 month dresses fit or are a bit too small. It's weird.

Yes! My 8 week old is in 3-6 month clothes and fits into a few 6 month things. He's pretty long so a lot if 0-3 had to be retired. Not sure what he weighs now but he was 11.4 at one month.

Nothing we bought in advance will fit when we thought it would!

LO grew really fast until 6 months when it slowed down. He had many newborn and 0-3 month outfits he never wore. He has always hated tight fitting clothing, so that made us go up in sizes early.

LO has been consistently 95% for height/weight and was only in 0-3 M for about 6 weeks and grew out of a lot of her 3-6 M by 4 months. There were definitely a few outfits that we missed or just wore once. She's 7 months now and most of the 6-9 month stuff is getting a little short, but the dresses still work with leggings.

But it definitely depends on the brand as well. Most of the stuff my ILs have given her (purchased in South America) runs really small, especially the neck holes!

He was 7 lbs 9 oz at birth, and was a super slow grower. He was in newborn stuff for awhile! Now at 11 months, he's catching up because he's not quite as active as other kids (he was/is a late crawler). He's continuing to slowly gain weight, while other kids his age are leveling off/losing weight!

DD2 is a giant baby - she was 8 lbs 2 oz at birth and weighed 13 lbs at her six week appt. now, at 16 weeks, she weighs 18 lbs!! I can't remember her exact height but she's been off the charts (literally) there as well.

DD1 was big at this age too, 90th percentile weight, 95th percentile height, but she's slimmed down. Now at 23 months, she's around the 50th percentile for weight and 85th for height.

Well, I have an abnormally giant child, so though she started slow (was WAY too tall for newborn but was swimming in 0-3 for a long time), she picked up around 4 months and was in 18-24 by 10 months, 2T by 15m, 3T by 18-20 months, and now is moving into 4T at 24m. So many unworn or lightly worn clothes.
