I was heavily monitored due to a placenta previa, which moved @34 weeks. I think I had a lot of monitoring of the heart. I went in to see my OB @ 38w 3d when I was having contractions on and off and lost my plug. But did have high BP at the doctors sometimes and gd so I have several extra ultrasounds throughout my pregnancy and they were all covered no problem. I was AMA which added a few of them, and they also found a small cyst near his liver in my 20 week US, so then I was referred to an MFM, and had to have monthly ultrasounds to keep track of it. I also had 2 stress tests right before I delivered.... Was a bit annoying, but I did like keeping a close eye on my LO. DD- at 37w4d I told my Ob I wasn't feeling as much movement so she sent me to get one. She failed the first nst so I was sent to the hospital and after a couple hours (and some zapping to wake her up) she passed.
