I think it'll depend on the kid. I never got a separate line I so desperately wanted. </p> <p>We had an old portable black and white tv with a 6" screen that I would take in my room sometimes and watch Night Court. No cable - it only had a knob with 12 channels. Will you let your LO have one? I doubt we would allow our kids to have tvs since we don't even own a tv. By then all tv will probably be online anyway. </p>
