I don't have one now. I judge my weight based on how my clothes fit :) I just weigh myself when I'm at my parents house if I'm curious. I had no point of reference for what my ideal weight should have been in those days, so it was just a game really. I do have one now but it's not super accurate and I rarely use it. Never really aware of my weight until I was an adult. I will do the same for my little girl. I think that this is one area where leading by example is important. I will also keep her from seeing me read trashy magazines. She had one in her bathroom, but we never used it. She didn't want us obsessed with weight as teenagers when there are so many pressures. Since then, i've never really been a scale person. I'm very blessed to not struggle with my weight and seem to maintain a general range so i never feel the need to weigh myself. Now that I'm pregnant, i feel like i should more, but my scale is a cheapy and doesn't seem accurate at all, so I just leave it to the doctor at the monthly visits.</p> <p>Did you have a scale growing up? If you have daughters, how do you feel about buying them a scale? </p>
