Happened when i was still finishing my PHD, barely started a less than ideal part time job, DH on a low salary post-doc position, no house, and lots of debt. Though emotionally and mentally we were ready and i was anxious to have kids soon so i adapted pretty quick. I can't really count it as an oops since I wasn't on BC, but DD1 is the result of one time not pulling out. I clearly was off on my timing when I said it was good to go lol. A similar thing happened earlier this year but ended in CP. that time I know there was NO way I thought I could get pregnant - we DTD right after AF was over and I typically have long cycles!
