He had a student with him so he was obviously in the teacher role, but he talked me through everything. He told me what to expect before it happened and it really helped me get through the crazy shaking and feeling unstable. I was cold, but it was cold in the operating room. My one arm kept lifting off the table I was so shaky and couldn't control it. I also had a lot of chest pressure right after they pulled the baby out, I was told it was because of the drastic pressure changes that occur at that time. Before the c-section I was so concerned with skin to skin but I was so shaky and uncomfortable that it was hard to concentrate on baby. I was FREEZING! They blew warm air on me which helped a little but not completely.
