After getting married in 2013, DH had pretty strong feelings about not waiting too long before having kids since he's a few years older than me. I only met my husband at age 25, he was almost 24, and we married 3 years later. Still, we were in no hurry to have kids and spent 5 years traveling the world and diving in exotic, remote locales before TTC. We got pregnant right away, but it still meant that I was 34 when we had our first. Because of that I definitely feel the need to start trying soon for our next. I never imagined I'd be having kids this late.
