When I told my primary care dr I wanted to try for a baby she sent me for testing that said I didn't have immunity to chicken pox, so I got two shots of the vaccine before conceiving my daughter. Fast forward to the beginning of my current pregnancy and I got shingles! I thought at first it was hormonal acne near my eye but it started to hurt really bad. I got it checked out and they said it was a minor case of shingles. </p> <p>No one could really figure out how that happened. My brothers had it when my mom was 8mo pregnant with me, so for a long time it was thought I had them in utero. I recently got over a bout of shingles that popped up just before Christmas.
