I remember the first one was at about 19.5/20 weeks . . . I had daily migraines from weeks 16-21, and was having problems getting in to see a Neurologist (and was in so much constant pain and not being able to sleep) coupled with the fact that I was worried because I wasn't sure that I had felt butterbean kick yet. I was sitting on the couch bawling my eyes out to DH when all of a sudden butterbean kicked me several times very hard. :) I started crying again, harder, because I was so happy that she was okay. </p> <p>I have had several others, too, mostly in private, but I also had a breakdown at my last OB appointment when I found out how much I weighed, and one at work (I had to rush to close my office door!) when I saw an article about a photographer who was photographing animals before they were going to be euthanized (in an effort to make more people aware of how beautiful the animals are and how tragic the situation is). About a month ago, I was making a 7-layer dip for work the next day, and it was about 9 p.m. and I was just exhausted, I had gotten home much later than intended. And the avocados weren't ripe and I kept trying to mash them, I must have gone through 18 utensils plus the blender. Finally I started crying, mashing things so hard that they were flying onto the wall. Then I couldn't get the sour cream and cream cheese to blend. I was yelling at DH, and I started pulling stuff out of all the cabinets onto the kitchen floor or just dropping stuff where ever. I pulled a drawer off its hinges! I don't know what the hell got into me but I felt so bad afterwards. I thought I was standing in the right place to wait, but the clerk asked me to go stand on the other end to be in line. I don't know why, but I felt upset by it. I started tearing up and crying as I walked up to the clerk to check me out. lol I told her to not mind me as I'm hormonal and pregnant. haha She did give me a 20% off coupon though! I was so embarrassed. </p> <p>And last week I called Buy Buy Baby to see when my glider was going to be in. This morning, I was in a doctor's office/account and they dumped on me a ton of frustrations they've been having with my company and products. They were quite upset. Even though it wasn't directed at me personally, I ended up bursting into tears in front of them. I don't even know why! What's worse is that I couldn't stop, and they basically freaked out and didn't know what to do with me- just tried to give me tissues and calm me down. I barely pulled myself together enough to get out of there, and I had to run home and try to calm down and undo the damage of my Ugly Cry Face tears so that I don't look weird all day.</p> <p>Do hormones get worse as pregnancy progresses? I'm 22 weeks and this was my first emotional breakdown. DH always says he thinks I'll miss being pregnant because I'm such a Happy Preg. </p> <p>Did you have emotional breakdowns over silly things while pregnant? Did it get worse as you got farther along? </p>
