I'm sure it'll only be a few days for you, but don't hesitate to get in touch with an LC if it becomes really painful or persists for more than a week. I struggled on thinking it was normal to be as engorged as I was and as soon as I saw an LC we were able to come up with a good plan to manage it.</p> <p>Chilled cabbage leaves and diapers dipped in water, frozen and applied to breasts really helped.
