Baby girl was in special care nursery for the first 24hrs so we were the only ones that saw anyone. All of our family is out of town. I didn't want visitors for at least 24 hours after DS was born. Plus it was Christmas and it snowed quite a bit that week. I was fine with it though. I gave birth thursday night but wasn't discharged until Monday so I encouraged people to come visit since I was so bored! Other than that, FIL visited as he was at the hospital for a medical appointment anyway. There were probably 30+ visitors at the hospital over 3 days. It was mayhem. But we knew that it would be and planned accordingly. There's one large double room in our hospital and we claimed it as soon as we were admitted. It had its own living room, an extra bathroom, and a dividing wall.
