When I tried to get out of bed I fainted. They did blood work and my hemoglobin had dropped really low. I have low platelets and anemia. I delivered last week. They decided not to give me a transfusion and I'm on steroids and iron to try to get my counts back up. It made recovery rough. I did need one blood transfusion. </p> <p>I was definitely out of it the day I was diagnosed with anemia. I remember being so out of it. I felt much better after the blood transfusion. DH said he definitely saw a difference before and after the blood transfusion. </p>
