I was induced and went into labor within a couple of hours, which took 5 hours for the doctors to believe me. I pushed for 15 min and bam there he was. 2 hours later I was throwing up and the doctors insisted I had food poisoning. An hour later I had a seizure, dislocated my shoulder while seizing, and was diagosnosed with HELP Syndrome and E-Clampsia. I don't remember 2 days straight of being in the hospital. We chose to have our mc at home instead of in a hospital as we were only around 9 weeks. Luckily my body responded well and it took me on 11 hours of labor. Some women take days to labor that way and on that situation. I'm so sorry about your miscarriage and I'm sure I'd have a ton of questions if I had to take a pill, too. I had a ton of questions for my doctor too. I thought I would just maybe have a D and c, but I was too far along. It was safer for me to labor and deliver. It was therapeutic because we got to hold her later on. I wasn't too far along, but it was still a nightmare. To my surprise, one of the pills they use to induce is the same as one used to start miscarriages. It lasted only 9 hours, no complications, and was a vaginal delivery like I wanted. I did have 3rd degree tears, but if that's the worst of it, then that is ok with me. I went into labor naturally, held off as long as I could before getting an epidural and was able to deliver vaginally.
