But you knew that ;)</p> <p>I didn't really buy a special outfit. I put him in jeans, a cute bib and hat. I wanted him to have freedom of movement, so I laid down a splat mat and let him have at it. If it's warm enough you could do it in your yard! Otherwise, lay down a mat, tablecloth etc on your wood floor :) </p> <p>I don't think you have to buy a special outfit... put her in some bloomers and a bib ;) or even just a dress that is dark in color or she's growing out of anyway. Then we served the guests the larger cake and let the LOs go after the cake wearing the clothes they were already wearing. It was pretty much at the end of the party.
