My DD was due the very end of August last year. I kept my rings on until the end of June but the last two months I had to take them off. It was so hot and I was really feeling big. I had the biggest fear of them getting stuck so I took them off. I have to say I cried a little! But I was able to get them on again about a month after she we born and when the weather cooled down and the initial pregnancy weight just fell off..

Nope...I was getting worried, though, cause my feet no longer had any sign of swelling, yet my ring wasn't fitting, yet. but, today, at 2 weeks pp, I have managed to get my ring back on. :)

After I had my baby I had to get my rings sized down half a size (from a 4.75 to a 4.25) because they were falling off. My fingers shrunk like crazy after having a baby.
I never had to take them off during pregnancy.

i'm on maternity leave right now and hardly ever wear my rings anymore because i don't want to accidentally scratch LO!

I took off my engagement ring at around 25 weeks and just wore my wedding band. At 35 weeks my wedding band started getting too tight to wear (my hands and feet are so swollen) so i got a stand in set (at Macy's!) It was pretty cheap and so far looks great- hopefully i will only have to wear it for a couple more weeks and then I can transition back to my regular set!

I wear a 5.25. It stopped fitting me around 20 weeks and I started wearing stand-ins. Tip - get a halfway decent stand-in. I went through 2-3 that lost "diamonds" or changed colors until I got a sterling silver band. However, maybe it's a good thing I didn't get that band until PP because it probably wouldn't have fit the whole time. PP I was wearing size 7. During pregnancy I'd have to say it was more like an 8. Swell much?! After about 2 mo PP I tried them on and there was no way. I couldn't imagine them fitting again. But low and behold, at 3 mo PP (and within 6-10 lbs of my pre-preg weight), they fit again!!! Woo hoo!

They're in my jewelry drawer and I've just been ringless. Occasionally I miss them but not often. It's funny that DH has his on and I don't since most couples I know are more likely to be the opposite.

I never resized mine. I have two wedding bands with my engagement ring in the middle. Around 33 weeks (I think) I had to go to wearing just one band cause the others just got to tight. But I could wear one band with no issues. I didn't swell up really bad though. One week PP, and I am still just wearing one band.

I just stopped wearing my e-ring and wore my wedding band around my neck on a chain. I didn't want to have to pay to keep getting it resized as my fingers grew and shrunk. I was pregnant in the Florida summer so I knew my fingers would swell up.... and they did.

I am not sure how much bigger my fingers were, but I had to stop wearing my rings at 30 weeks (I had some seriously crazy swelling in addition to the summer heat swelling). But now, even though I haven't lost all of the pg weight, I can comfortably wear my rings again . . . as long as I watch my salt!

i was pregnant in the summer and my fingers got pretty swollen, my e-ring went first, then the band. I got a faker replacement eternity ring to wear in the meantime. and my rings are a size 4.5 - and the replacement was a size 6!

i got my real rings back on at about a month pp.

I never had to stop wearing my E- ring or stacking band - they were slight looser than my wedding band. I just stopped wearing my wedding band and right hand ring a couple weeks before delivery. I wouldn't resize bc you'd probably have to resize again. Barely worn my rings pp since I've barely left the house.

Hmm, okay so far it sounds like I should probably hold off on getting them made smaller. The 3.25 isn't 'waay' too big on me right now, it's just bigger than I prefer. There's a chance the rings will fit through my pregnancy at this size and if I lose all the weight and they're too loose I can have them sized down.

Mine had to come off at 20 weeks pregnant. I worse a stand-in after that.

I'm 4 months PP nearly, and my rings still don't fit. But I'm not far off. I have a right hand ring that I love that I've been wearing in the interim. My hands aren't that differently sized, so if a right hand ring is fitting on the left hand, my wedding rings aren't too far behind, hopefully!

Don't do it! I took mine off during pregnancy and either wore a stand-in set or my rings on a chain but afterwards I wish I had been more patient.

My regular rings are a 6.5 and I'm wearing a size 7 on my finger currently. It's a right hand ring. I wouldn't want to subject a real gold/diamond ring to temporary resizing for just a few months of wear, only to resize it back down. I made it until my third trimester, then dropped to just my wedding band, and the last 6 weeks have worn a Diamonique ring. So I've only gone up half a size

My fingers got very swollen and fat and I wasn't able to wear my rings throughout my entire pregnancy, so I wore a cheap replacement. My husband got my e-ring resized when I was about 5 months post partum and now it's way too big!! I wish I would have believed that I could lose all the weight because now I can only wear my wedding band that he didn't resize.

I'm not sure how bloated my fingers will get, but if my rings get too small, I'm just going to not wear them for a few months, rather than resizing them only to have to resize them again. I may get a cheap stand in for the interim, since I like to be wearing something.

How big did your fingers get during your pregnancy and did you have to get your rings resized?

My ring finger ranges from a 'tight' size 3 to a 3.25. I just ordered a new e-ring setting and wedding band last week in a 3.25 and now I'm wondering if I should have gone smaller. My current ring is a 3.25 and at my most bloated/swollen, it easily slides on and off and it never feels tight. About 90% of the time it slides around/spins loosely on my finger, but never falls off.

But of course I'm worried about being pregnant this summer, with 25+ lbs on me in the heat will my fingers get a lot bigger?
