I definitely needed it though - I have a weird condition where even under normal circumstances I don't breathe in as much oxygen as the average person, so I was getting shaky and light-headed from lack of it.</p> <p>By that point I'd been awake for a crazy long time, over a day, and was totally delirious and they had just upped the amount of medication I was getting to c-section levels. We had been watching Dark Knight Rises before heading into the hospital, and I kept telling everyone the mask made me feel like Bane. And telling DH that he had 'a lovely, lovely voice.' They actually took it away right before I started pushing and said I was using it too much and to focus on pushing.
