My parents had a jack installed in my sister's room at the same time and planned to buy her a phone when she turned 13. However, she figured it out really quickly, bought a cheap phone and was always on my line! I was outraged :silly: We did not have call waiting, needless to say. But then I got smart... we had a 2nd fax line which was almost never used. And my room had a jack for the fax line, so I secretly bought a phone which I stowed under my bed and plugged in late at night when I wanted to make calls (usually to boys, haha). I unplugged it after each call and I never gave out that number.
