Amniotic fluid smells sweet. Less than 30 minutes later I was in major active later! They had to swab me at the hospital because the nurse couldn't even tell if it broke. I heard a loud pop and then felt a gush. I was always told to know if your water broke is if u sit on the toilet and you're not peeing and liquid is still dripping, then most likely your water broke. About an hour ago I heard a little pop - didn't feel a thing. My undies were a little damp but not even soaked.. I feel a little crampy in my lower abdomen but normal otherwise so I am thinking probably NOT my water - although I wish it was ! Did any of you hear a small pop but not leak until a while later ?
