We had tons of food and sent home party favors of a 1lb roast pig slice and red eggs. We're not religious or superstitious, but it was fun. Lo was 12 weeks (he was born over the holidays, so we waited awhile, plus shots, etc.) and he had a fun time interacting with his guests. As I hosted the party at my friend's house, she got to sit back and enjoy while I did all the stressful stuff like food and decorations. We did salad and mac and cheese bar which was easy and fun. We also had a diaper pound, so she got TONS of diapers in lots of sizes up from LO's current size.
