However, we got every ultrasound on DVD. We just brought a blank one to the tech each time. I love those DVDs! But for my pregnancy last year, I asked a close friend to come to the initial 6.5w ultrasound since DH was traveling. This was an IVF pregnancy. We had DH's parents, DH's gramma, my parents, BIL, 2 sisters and neice. The room fit 1 more. It was awesome because it was set in a comfy room with a huge TV. That is if they Dr. office will even let everyone in for it... His step mom, who was more of a mom to him then his real mom, was never able to have kids so DH is the closest thing she has to a child. I've been more open to her involvement now that I realized how big of a deal this is to her. I think she feels superstitious or something because she had a m/c before she had DH and she was nervous during the whole time she was pregnant.
