the first time, i sort of knew because my boobs were extremely tender (unusual), i was very sleepy during the day (also unusual), and i got this super-exaggerated "melt in my heart" feeling when i saw babies (somewhat unusual). we weren't trying, but not on BC either though.

the second time, we were actively trying... and i knew about 6 dpo because i visited an old neighborhood park and started to tear up (for pretty much no reason, just being sentimental). i guess if i had to put it in symptoms terms, i'd say it was feeling over-emotional. no other symptoms at that point, but i still was very hopeful about it. i got a BFN around 10 dpo, but then a BFP at 12 dpo!

I was 100% conviced that I was not pregnant - and believe me, I wanted to be and was looking for all the symptoms. I got both my normal AF symptoms - sore breasts and cramping - so I kept running to the bathroom becasue I thought I started. I only suspected when AF was late. I always thought I would just know because I am pretty in tune with my body, but I was wrong!

I had absolutely no idea that it would be a BFP. Definitely had plenty of months that I thought I knew but was wrong. Having that surprise/utter shock was definitely worth it!

Took my HPT today and it was BFN. So I guess just knowing isn't a valid symptom.. but AF is still missing. hmm.

On the other end of the spectrum, I've definitely "just known" that I wasn't pregnant during the TWW. I had hope, but deep down knew it hadn't happened.

It's not worth stressing over, but it is worth testing over if it causes stress. I had at least two instances on birth control where my period was late, and I was kind of panicked. Having the test on hand made me far less spastic the second time.

I did. It's hard to say why I knew, I just felt... off. I am normally very in tune with my body. I could tell that something was different.

My early symptoms were mostly frequent urination, fatigue and sore breasts. The boobs were the tipping point to get me to test. I got a BFP at 10 DPO.

I had a chemical pregnancy a few years ago. Suddenly, I craved mangoes - they normally make me really ill with even two bites, and I sat down and ate half a jar with no ill effects at all. Had a BFP at 4 1/2 weeks, and a BFN three days later.

I was sick and was gonna take cough medicine but had a nagging thought that I should take a test just in case since the cough medicine was on the forbidden list for pregnant women. I went out and got a test and it was positive so I just suffered through my cough. :)

It's hard to describe just exactly how you "just know" until you indeed do. For me, it was some morning sickness, sore boobs(and tighter bra) and a sensitive gag reflex when I brushed my teeth in the morning, more specifically when I'd brush my tongue, bleh, there I'd go, lol. THEN, I was like, hmmm, let me calculate.......yep, better go buy a hpt. And sure enough, both times, bfps!
ETA: One time, I wasn't even late, I tested a couple of days before I was due for my period, and boom! The other, I was two weeks past due for my period. Both times though, I still "just knew". The hpts were more of like a confirmation, like, "yep."

I "knew" but I'd known before and I didn't want to be disappointed. I just got my BFP this morning. I had crazy dreams, a backache, my belly/uterus felt like it was stretching. I also just kind of knew that I could be pregnant. Now, just hoping and praying that we don't lose this one as we had a m/c with our first last year.

We were TTC & doing fertility treatments, so I knew exactly when to test to get an accurate result.

That said, I found out 13 DPO. I just *knew* I could test & get a positive test. I'd been feeling sluggish, extremely tired (going to bed at 7pm, when I'm normally a night owl), nauseated, and my breasts were sore.

Part of me felt like I was reading into symptoms, since I knew I *could* be pregnant that month, but I just had a feeling. I tested, and it was positive almost immediately.

I was pretty sure. I got a little nauseous after eating breakfast and had to use the restroom more frequently than usual during the week prior to when my period was due. Try not to worry about it too much until you've tested (easier said than done, I know).

I didn't know but my friends did. They saw how sick I was at 6dpo (like @Navy_Mommy) and how painful my boobs were. They all have kids and were all, oh you so are pregnant. I didn't think I was until I got sick after eating at 11dpo.

I "knew" with DS. For about a week I was getting sick every time I ate, that was my main clue. I never felt anything inside. Then, my period was late. So I tested and it was positive.

I'm not currently TTC. I am on the pill and really have no reason to believe I am pregnant, however, the last 3 or 4 days I have had this overwhelming feeling that I am pregnant.. and I can't shake the thought. It kept me up all night last night.

The main thing that put the thought in my mind is that I have been having a weird feeling in my lower abdomen when I stretch out to sleep. Not cramps, just a feeling.. almost like it is being pushed and stretched from the inside.

I am on seasonique so I haven't had a period since the end of August and I have no idea when I would ovulate or when would be an appropriate time to test. I finish my pill pack on Saturday so I was thinking of testing on Tuesday if I haven't started before then, but I am just so nervous and worried that I want to test now.

So for you ladies that "just knew," how did you know and what did it feel like?
